Cook Composites raises prices

Cook Composites and Polymers announced a price increase of 4 cents per pound on all unsaturated polyester resin and Thermaclean products, and an increase of 6 cents on all gelcoat-related products.

The new pricing is effective for all shipments on or after Nov. 8.

"This price increase is necessary due to the ongoing cost escalation and, in some cases, limited supply of raw materials used in the production of CCP's composites-related product lines," said Ken Moran, vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement.

Cook Composites and Polymers is based in Kansas City, Mo.
