Correct Craft Plans Expansions

The moves will allow additional growth for Nautique, Supreme, Ingenity and Watershed Innovation

Correct Craft announced a several moves to increase production capacity and give its model lines more room for growth. The company revealed that it had purchased a 300,000-square-foot facility adjacent to its Orlando, Fla., Nautique headquarters and plans to move its upholstery, machine shop, marketing services, final detail and shipping departments to the new site.

In addition, Watershed Innovation — whose Ingenity division last year conceived the first all-electric Super Air Nautique GS22E — will utilize the new space to continue to develop disruptive technology.

“We have begun executing a significant scaling plan for Ingenity electric boats,” says Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin. “2021 will be a breakout year for Ingenity. … We are significantly increasing electric-boat production, which will also be done at this new Florida facility.”

Additionally, Correct Craft says it will move the Supreme Boats operations from its shared location (with Centurion) in Merced, Calif., to a 160,000-square-foot site in Valdosta, Ga. The company says the new location taps into local boatbuilding professionals — it is the former Regal Boats site — and is already set up for building boats.

Centurion will remain in California, which gives both brands the ability to increase production.

“We are very excited about the growth opportunity this new Supreme Boats factory in Georgia brings to both of our brands,” says Centurion and Supreme president Paul Singer. “It will give the
Supreme brand a phenomenal opportunity for accelerated growth with its own production facility.”

Yeargin says more growth will follow.

“Starting the new year with two major expansions is exciting for our team. “These expansions are exciting news for not only our team, but also the scores of dealers who have been asking our team for additional product.”
