U.S. cable, rope and umbilical specialist Cortland Co. expanded its facility in Anacortes, Wash., to create upgraded sales, engineering and administrative spaces.

The expansion will add 4,800 square feet to the facility, bringing the total square footage to more than 82,000. The new area will include 13 new offices, two conference rooms and a break room and create nearly 3,000 square feet of manufacturing space where the administrative offices are currently located.

“This project prepares Cortland for the future, as our expanded facility will increase our capability to provide unmatched customer support to our clients by greatly increasing both office and manufacturing space,” company president Randy Longerich said in a statement. “This will allow Cortland to continue being the preferred solution provider to the numerous markets and customers we serve.”
