CRC Industries is sponsoring the FB Marine Group 40-foot MTI catamaran in the Superboat class for the 2017 Superboat International racing season.

Throttleman and team owner Randy Sweers is teaming with driver Glen Hibbard in the boat’s enclosed cockpit.

More than likely, CRC will badge the boat as the Salt Terminator for its engine-flushing product. The team will start at the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix during the first weekend in July and will race at Clearwater, Fla., in October and Key West, Fla., at the year-ending world championships in November.

Sweers and Hibbard will be running engines built by Frank McComas of Scorpion Enterprises, but will eventually switch over to Sterling Performance power before the end of the season.
