Cruisers Yachts announces cutbacks

KCS International, which operates Cruisers Yachts, is permanently laying off 60 workers and extending a current layoff of 68 others, according to several media reports in Wisconsin.

The company blames "the current unanticipated and dramatic major economic downturn" for the job cuts, according to paperwork filed with the state’s Department of Workforce Development.

The company is based in Oconto, Wis. Attempts to reach the company for comment were unsuccessful.
