CWR Electronics promotes two in sales

Marine recreational products distributor CWR Electronics has announced two promotions.

Jason Young has been named director of outside sales and Scott Jacobus has been promoted to director of sales and purchasing.

As outside sales director, Young will be leading the maintenance and development of new business relationships, as well as starting an outside sales team to introduce New Jersey-based CWR nationwide.

"Jason has added substantial technical experience to our sales team since he joined us in 2012," CWR president Brian Swanke said in a statement. "With Jason leading our outside sales efforts, I am confident we can continue to grow CWR's presence across the country.”

Jacobus will oversee the entire sales and purchasing staff’s day-to-day operations in his new role while continuing his purchasing role for several product lines.

"Scott has several areas of experience — marine electronics sales, finance and management," Swanke said. "As he leads the sales and purchasing team, he will help us ensure we are utilizing all manufacturer programs and benefits."

Jacobus has been with CWR since 2011.
