Dates set for Yacht Brokerage University seminars

YachtWorld.com is partnering with the Yacht Broker Association of America to co-present two more Yacht Brokerage Universities: Aug. 4 in Mississauga, Ontario, and Aug. 11 in Seabrook, Texas.

“We are pleased to be partnering with YBAA again for two more sessions this year,” Yachtworld.com vice president and general manager Ian Atkins said in a statement. “Our curriculum underwent substantial change, and the feedback from brokers has been very positive. It’s exciting to introduce new educational opportunities to the industry to favorably impact brokers' businesses."

The one-day events will feature hosted panel discussions led by industry experts and will include presentations on:

• Social media presentation — Facebook: The opportunity

• Boat Wizard 2.0 presentation

• Best practices panel — brokers who are putting today’s best practices into action

• Industry experts panel — insight from leading authorities representing multiple facets of the marine industry

There is no cost for brokers who want to attend, but space is limited and pre-registration is required. YachtWorld.com members can sign up via BoatWizard or click here to register.
