Deadline nears for NMRA scholarship applications

Schools are urged to promote the scholarship to their students.

The National Marine Representatives Association is reminding students pursuing education and a career in the maritime trades to apply for its $3,000 scholarship.

The application can be downloaded here and is due April 1.

Schools are urged to promote the scholarship to their students. High school seniors, and college and vocational students are encouraged to apply.

Since 2008, the NMRA has contributed to the future of the marine trades with its scholarship program. The national organization was founded in 1960 to serve marine industry independent sales representatives and the manufacturers who sell through reps.
