Scout Boats recently held its 2009 model year dealer meeting in Charleston, S.C. In addition to unveiling six new models, Scout awarded its top dealers from model year 2008.

The builder recognized its top 10 dealers at the event, including Exotic Boats of Greece as Dealer of the Year.

The Dealer Sales Award winners were:

• Coastal Marine, Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Based in Summerville, S.C., Scout builds fishing boats from 14 to 35 feet in center console, express, bay, flats and fish-n-ski styles.

Hydra-Sports Boats recently announced its top 10 dealers for the 2008 model year.

Plantation Boat Mart of Tavernier, Fla., again took top honors. Completing the top three are Thunder Marine of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Lentine Marine of Stuart and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Atlantic Outboard of Westbrook, Conn., rose from the 10th spot last year to fourth.

Rounding out the top 10 are All Seasons Marine of Rowayton, Conn.; Boat Tree of Orlando, Port Canaveral and Sanford, Fla.; Marina Mike’s of Fort Myers, Fla.; Eagle Marine of Sagamore Beach, Mass.; Collins Inc. of Smithfield, N.C.; and Causeway Marine of Manahawkin, N.J.

Based in Sarasota, Fla., Hydra-Sports — a Genmar company — builds saltwater fishing boats from 19 to 41 feet.

Beneteau USA reports more than 20 retail orders taken at the recent U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis.

Beneteau USA is the American manufacturing facility of Groupe Beneteau, based in France.
