A new survey asks marine dealers to weigh in on September market conditions and whether they carry more or fewer boat brands than they did five or 10 years ago.
The five-question survey, known as the Pulse Report, was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013. Soundings Trade Only later partnered with Baird to distribute the survey and report the results.
The Pulse Report includes such data points as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. It also includes the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
