Dealers: What Features Do Customers Want Most?

A monthly survey is asking dealers what features on boats seem most important to customers during this time of substantial growth.

The brief, five-question survey, called the Pulse Report, was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013 to take the pulse of current retail conditions on a monthly basis. Trade Only Today partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.

The surveys analyze industry data points like new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. They also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
