A new survey is asking marine dealers to weigh in on the August market, and provide feedback on the price range their most entry-level products fall into.
The brief, five-question survey, called the Pulse Report, was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013. Trade Only later partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.
The surveys analyze industry data points like new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. They also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
