Denison Yacht Sales buys Lauderdale broker

Denison Yacht Sales, a Fort Lauderdale brokerage, acquired yacht brokerage Generation Marine.

“The incredible family history of Denison as one of the premier American yachting stories, strong market position, strong growth history and a respect for their business practices all were key to making this deal happen with Generation Marine,” Bob Crow, of Generation Marine, which is also based in Fort Lauderdale, said in a statement. “This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of this progressive and forward-thinking company, and we are all proud to now be members of this team.”

All current Generation Marine brokers will move to the Denison Yacht Sales facility. The merger was effective Monday.

The companies will exhibit at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the Denison display, which will showcase Selene trawlers, Dufour yachts and Beneteau fast trawlers.
