Professional Yacht Broker Magazine made its debut with a pilot issue in time for the 2012 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show. The digital magazine will be delivered electronically every other month to more than 7,500 yacht brokers across North America, Europe and the Pacific Basin.

“This is the only trade magazine written exclusively for yacht brokers, large boat dealerships’ sales staff and yacht builders that rely on yacht brokers for their buyers,” Jim Ramsey, PYB editor and president of publisher JC Ramsey & Co., said in a statement.

Ramsey has more than 30 years of experience in the marine industry. He was a sales and marketing manager for Betram, Donzi and DeFever trawlers and was the founding publisher of MarineMax Yachts & Brokerage magazine, Lifestyles Magazine and Coastal Yachting.

He is past president of the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, past chairman of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Committee and past president of the Fort Lauderdale Council of the Navy League of the United States, as well as a licensed yacht captain.
