DinghyPro plans move to new Connecticut location

DinghyPro, which specializes in the repair and servicing of inflatable boats and rigid-hull inflatables, said it is moving from Deep River, Conn., to nearby Essex.

“The move to Essex is only about 4 miles from our Deep River site and is easy to get to from any direction,” owner Jeff Going said in a statement. “The move will be done during the month of October and will not mean stopping work on any of the repairs or service. Also, our phone and Internet remain unchanged.”

The company, formerly known as DinghyDoc, said the new location at 46 Plains Road has more space and a 12-by-14-foot ground-level door to provide better access for larger inflatables and RIBs.

“The large, ground-level door will make moving trailered boats in and out an easy accommodation for our customers,” Going added. “Many owners of larger RIBs are finding the prospect of updating their vessel with new tubes to be a modest investment, compared with replacing the whole boat. With a number of these projects in the works, it became clear that we needed a facility that better served these needs.”
