Discover Boating is hosting a “Tools You Can Use” webinar Tuesday to detail the online resources available for the marine industry and give step-by-step instructions for using them.

There will be a “how-to” session for adding the following tools to a company’s website:

• The new 'Welcome to the Water - Movie Maker' Facebook application

• Discover Boating videos (Welcome to the Water video, ‘Good Run’ short film, Boating Guy videos, 2012 online videos)

• Interactive resources: Loan Calculator, Cost Comparison Tool, Spousal Conversion Kit, Take Me Fishing Hotspots Map

The webinar will be held at 1 p.m. EDT and is hosted by Armida Markarova, vice president of Grow Boating Inc. and director of interactive marketing for NMMA, according to a release.

Another series of webinars will be held at various dates and times in June that will detail how to use the new Discover Boating lead system.

The Discover Boating Lead System rolled out new enhancements, including an improved user interface; custom lead reports; ability to segment prospects by location, category; access to robust HTML email editor; and, comprehensive best practices guidelines.

The platform is powered by FootSteps Channel Connect, ARI's new manufacturer lead management solution. Check out a series of dealer- and manufacturer-specific webinars to walk you through using the new platform to access leads.

The events will be hosted by Bob McCann, director of education at ARI, a 20-year sales education veteran and the author of the nationally recognized e-business sales method known as TIPS (Traffic, Interactive Website, Process, Sales).
