Donation benefits C.G. Foundation's Fallen Heroes Fund

The Coast Guard Foundation received a $75,000 donation from the Navy League of the United States for its Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund.

The Fallen Heroes Fund benefits the families of Coast Guard men and women lost in the line of duty, providing up to four years of support for children and spouses to continue their education.

“Our Fallen Heroes Fund is one of the many successful programs we have created to help families rebuild their lives, and with the award from the Navy League, we are excited to expand assistance to a greater number of deserving families,” said Anne Brengle, president of the Coast Guard Foundation, in a statement.
