Donovan Marine rolls out new marketing tools

During its Donovan Dealer Days Show in mid-October, Donovan Marine Inc. showcased its new DiscountMarineMart.

The Louisiana-based, privately held, family-owned commercial and wholesale recreational boating supplier said in a press release that its new venture will be “the industry’s premier marketing solution to help dealers reach their decision-makers better, faster and easier.”

Show attendees saw options such as a customized retail catalog with dealer logo imprint opportunities; an intuitive website linked to dealer network and consumer leads; and in-season promotional fliers.

Donovan’s exclusive Ship Shape TV partnership enables dealers’ accessories to be promoted on a marine TV show that millions of boaters nationwide watch.

Research shows that boaters are hanging on to their current boats longer. Donovan Marine said it is doing everything it can to arm dealers with the marketing tools, products and discounts they need to capture and educate consumers and teach them about the products they offer.
