Massachusetts-based Edson International is partnering with Total Marine Supply LLC as its factory representative in the Midwest and Great Lakes region.

Tim Loftus has owned and operated Total Marine Supply for nine years, specializing in sales of marine equipment to OEM boatbuilders and large marine distributors.

Prior to that, Loftus managed distributor sales for Harken Yacht Equipment after a long career in field sales for Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor.

Loftus is also a sailor and avid racer on Lake Michigan.

Edson makes marine steering systems and accessories, boat davits, radar towers and marine pumps for sailboats and powerboats.

"We are excited to have Tim join our team,” Edson president and co-owner Will Keene said in a statement. “He brings a wealth of knowledge to the job, along with his reputation for honesty and integrity, which makes this a good fit for Edson's customers in the Great Lakes region."

"I am honored to represent Edson in the Great Lakes,” Loftus said. “Edson brings an unmatched 155-year track record of excellence in both product and customer support and complements our current 'TMS' product offering perfectly. I look forward to growing our businesses together."
