Edson selects Gulf Coast sales representative

The Edson Corp. of New Bedford, Mass., selected Doug Sanders of ComMar Sales LLC in Tiverton, R.I., to represent the company's product line in the Gulf Coast states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Sanders will call on OEMs and Edson dealer/service centers in this territory, with a focus on business development for Edson's line of products, including the ProSeries line of PowerKnobs and PowerWheels, NavCom Tower Systems, Sailboat Steering Systems and Boating Accessories. He will be based out of Destrehan, La., a suburb of New Orleans.

Sanders has spent the last seven years working as district sales manager for ICOM America and won numerous sales achievement awards. He serviced electronic dealers in the offshore/rig/commercial marine markets in the Great Lakes, Midwest and Gulf Coast. Prior to ICOM, he worked for Boater's World for 10 years as district manager of the Gulf Coast market.
