The Egg Harbor Group chose United Yacht Sales LLC to represent the company’s full product line.

The Egg Harbor Group, which builds Egg Harbor, Buddy Davis, Predator, Topaz, Ovation and Silverton yachts, partnered with United Yacht Sales to extend its product offerings throughout the country. There are tentative plans for United to host a “factory store” at its new corporate location in Stuart, Fla., for year-round sea trials.

With more than 120 active yacht brokers working in 16 states and Canada, many with an extensive background in new-boat sales, “United Yacht Sales was the logical choice for us,” Egg Harbor Group chairman Ira M. Trocki said in a statement.

“We are excited to partner with the Egg Harbor Group,” said certified professional yacht broker Christopher Cooke, the United Yacht division manager who will lead the company’s sales program. “These are iconic brands that have been part of the boating community for generations, and our brokers are anxious to get started representing them.”

In November 1999, Trocki purchased Egg Harbor and has since added brands that include Silverton and Ovation yachts, bought out of bankruptcy in August 2012.

United Yacht will be representing the Egg Harbor Group at the upcoming Stuart Boat Show and the Miami International Boat Show in February.
