EPA, Coast Guard hosting Clean Water Act meetings


The Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Coast Guard are co-hosting several public meetings to discuss its draft permit regulation for vessels under its Clean Water Act proposal.

The regulation, if enacted, would require recreational boaters to follow specific practices to operate their boats and manage their everyday, overboard water discharges.

The public meetings and hearings are open to the public. No advanced registration is necessary.

Meeting times and dates are as follows:
