ePropulsion Acquires Majority Stake in U.K. Division

Electric propulsion manufacturer ePropulsion said it acquired a majority of shares in ePropulsion U.K.

The transaction results in a closer collaboration with the U.K. dealer network headed by Steve Bruce, who was appointed global OEM sales director of the parent, ePropulsion said in a statement.

Danny Tao, CEO of ePropulsion, called the U.K. division a “driving force in our expansion and robust offering” in that country. An expansion in the United Kingdom is planned.

Bruce was managing director of ePropulsion U.K., where he grew the dealer network, recently adding 15 new resellers.

“We’ve worked closely with Steve and his team for a number of years and are extremely pleased to continue the relationship and collaborate on a closer level as we continue to strengthen our distribution across key markets,” Tao said.
