Essex Yacht Sales LLC, owned by Leslie Quarrier, acquired Boatworks Yacht Sales in Essex, Conn., which has operated in the area for more than 25 years.

The company will operated under the name Essex Yacht Sales.

"I offer comprehensive knowledge of fine power and sailing yachts, including luxury yachts, Down East and express cruisers, trawlers and sailboats," Quarrier said in a statement.

Quarrier is a longtime veteran of the yacht brokerage business.

"As a certified professional yacht broker, I am a Certification Advisory Council member, active member of The Yacht Brokers Association of America, member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and a licensed and bonded Florida broker."
