FedEx executive will keynote South Florida marine luncheon

FedEx Freight president and CEO Michael Ducker will be the keynote speaker for the 14th annual Leading With Vision and Values luncheon.

FedEx Freight president and CEO Michael Ducker will be the keynote speaker for the 14th annual Leading With Vision and Values luncheon on Feb. 12 in Key Biscayne, Fla.

The event will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Rusty Pelican restaurant.

Hosted by Duane and Tim Kuck of Regal Marine Industries on behalf of the Regal Foundation, the event was established to encourage and challenge marine industry leaders to consider how faith and values can be applied in life and in the workplace.

Ducker has been with FedEx for more than 40 years. He provides strategic direction for the corporation’s less-than-truckload companies throughout North America and for FedEx Custom Critical, an expedited freight carrier.

He previously served FedEx as president of international business, chief operating officer of FedEx Express and president of FedEx Express Asia Pacific.

He also was on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations for the Obama administration and is chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Ducker is on the board for the Coalition of Services Industries; the U.S.-China Business Council; the American Transportation Research Institute; The Salvation Army; Amway Corp.; and International Flavors and Fragrances.

He earned an MBA from a joint program of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
