Fell Marine said it named Paul Petani as its Americas sales director.

The company said Petani was hired to establish relationships with key distribution partners in the OEM and aftermarket sales channels in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Frost said the company launched its MOB+ boating kill switch in Europe in 2015 and has achieved growth and market acceptance. Fell is now seeking to partner with OEMs and distributors in the Americas.

“We are very excited to have Paul join our team and believe he has the right blend of retail, OEM and dealer development experience in both the U.S. and international markets,” Fell Marine founder and CEO Christian Frost said in a statement.

“With previous assignments at Mercury Marine, Polaris and Jarden Corp., we are confident Paul will build lasting relationships with key customers and will introduce our innovative product to these important markets.”
