First megayacht marina set to open in Croatia

Croatia’s first megayacht marina is opening this summer, with 79 berths available for yachts as large as 140 meters.

The Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club is in Sibenik between two national parks — Kornati Islands and Krka in Middle Dalmatia.

Pontoon producer Marinetek and the investors NCP Group and Dogus Group created the marina.

“With the recent modifications to the marina, Sibenik region is destined to become the region’s premier gateway for megayachts, as it offers convenient access to more than 1,200 scenic islands on the Adriatic, as well as presenting an outstanding hub from which to cruise the eastern coast of Italy and the eastern Mediterranean,” according to the owners.
