Flexofold Hires New Managing Director

Flexofold, a producer of low-drag propellers for sailboats and multihull yachts, has appointed Henning Uldall as its new managing director.

The new hire is effective Aug. 1, Flexofold said in a statement this morning. Uldall replaces Keld Willberg, who is leaving after 13 years of service at the company to accept a management position outside of the recreational marine industry.

Willberg managed Flexofold since its acquisition by Yanmar in 2017. The company is growing and will need to move into a larger headquarters, the statement said.

Uldall “will focus on strengthening our leading position in the recreational marine industry,” said Marcel Borsboom, Yanmar Marine international director general of Onboard Systems. “We are looking forward to exciting times ahead with a new sales appointment planned imminently and a move to a larger building in progress due to the company outgrowing the current premises.”
