Florida By Water acquires BoatFlorida.com

Boating destination guide Florida By Water announced its purchase of the BoatFlorida.com network.

BoatFlorida is one of Florida’s leading online boating communities, encompassing more than 20 individual regionally based boating sites.

Florida By Water president Rusty Gardner says the two organizations together have the ability to reach hundreds of thousands of boaters.

“We focus on the needs of the boating community, providing the best and latest information possible," he said in a statement. “Our intent is to help the boating community have the best possible boating experience available. We truly believe that boating can enhance family relationships, enrich memories and provide a lifestyle that is needed in today's society.”

Florida By Water intends to keep the sites separate, allowing each to focus on a different mission.
