Florida marine charity schedules gala for January

Tickets are on sale for the Marine Industry Cares Foundation’s inaugural Chairman’s Gala Monte Carlo Casino Night.

Tickets are on sale for the Marine Industry Cares Foundation’s inaugural Chairman’s Gala Monte Carlo Casino Night, which is scheduled for Jan. 16 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Gallery of Amazing Things in Dania Beach, Fla.

The evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and games of blackjack, roulette and craps also will recognize the five-year anniversary of the foundation, honor the organization’s founders and recognize the contributions of volunteers.

Tickets are priced at $60 for individuals and $100 for couples. There also are VIP Experience tickets available at $100 for individuals and $150 for couples.

They can be purchased online and from foundation board members and Gala Committee members.

“We thought the timing was right to celebrate the accomplishments of MICF and recognize those volunteers who have been key to much of our success,” foundation chairman David Reed said in a statement.

“Attendees will not only get to enjoy a great venue and our Monte Carlo Casino theme but help MICF raise funds to support our new Marine Summer Camp program which we launched as a pilot initiative in 2015.”
