Florida marine directory retools Web site

FloridaMarineGuide.com, a marine business directory, recently redesigned its Web site.

The Web site redesign allows users to narrow a search among the nearly 9,000 business listings for a specific region in Florida, such as "a marina in Fort Lauderdale." It also features a photo blog where visitors can see pictures and read information on various marine-related topics.

"A person getting ready to visit Panama City Beach may want to find waterfront lodging, restaurants, boat rentals and a fishing charter, all in that particular area," sales and marketing director Janie Barbato said in a statement. "It's easy to do when you narrow your search on FloridaMarineGuide.com."

Created in 2001, the site offers users an easy and effective way to find marine companies in Florida.
