The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County is holding a grand opening ceremony Dec. 16 for its new Riviera Beach, Fla., office.

This marks the first open-to-the-public office for the association since its inception in 1985.

"The association's move to a new office will make MIAPBC more visible in the community, as well as providing expanded services and accessibility to its current and potential members," the association said in a statement.

The group is a not-for-profit, membership-based trade association representing more than 800 marine businesses in Palm Beach County.
