Florida Yacht Brokers Association names officers

The Florida Yacht Brokers Association's board of directors recently elected its 2010 slate of officers.

Elected to serve as president is Crom Littlejohn of Merle Wood & Associates; vice president is Lon McCloskey of The Marine Group; secretary is Gary Smith of Sarasota Yacht & Ship; and re-elected to serve as treasurer is Bob Zarchen of Sparkman & Stephens.

The FYBA was created in 1987 to unite those in the yacht brokerage business for the purpose of promoting professionalism and cooperation among its members, and to promote and maintain a high standard of conduct in brokerage transactions.

The FYBA comprises more than 1,100 individual members representing more than 400 businesses.
