Former NMMA director named to Coast Guard position

The United States Coast Guard has appointed Jeff Ludwig as chief of product assurance with the Coast Guard Office of Boating Safety.

A lifelong boater, Ludwig worked with the Office of Boating Safety when he was with the National Marine Manufacturers Association as director of regulatory affairs for five years. He also served in the United States Army as a paratrooper.

Ludwig’s priorities will be to improve and optimize the customer service experience with the product assurance branch, improve outreach and strengthen the lines of communication with the manufacturers and the boating public.
