Four Active Interest Media boating and fishing magazines captured top awards in the Folio: Eddie & Ozzie contest.

The national awards recognize magazine excellence in a host of editorial and design categories. They were awarded Wednesday at a luncheon in New York.

Power & Motoryacht won an Eddie for a full issue in the Automotive/Enthusiast consumer category and Anglers Journal captured the top prize for a full issue in the Outdoor/Sports bracket.

Soundings won an Eddie in the Digital Consumer category for columns and blogs. And Yachts International won for best single article in the consumer Automotive/Enthusiast section.

“We knew we produced category-leading magazines within our industry,” said Gary DeSanctis, the AIM Marine Group general manager and group publisher. “But to be recognized for excellence by the broader magazine publishing community is very gratifying.”
