Trailer Boats magazine recently presented its 2009 Zenith Award to Four Winns for the builder’s new SL222.

Publisher/editorial director Jim Hendricks and editor Ron Eldridge presented the award last week during the Miami International Boat Show to executives of Four Winns and its parent company, Genmar Holdings Inc.

The 2009 Four Winns SL222 was selected among a field of 30 designs, all of them Trailer Boats Excellence in Design Award recipients, as featured in the magazine’s January issue. The SL222 stood out because of its overall utility, advanced features and style, according to Eldridge.

“On every level, the Four Winns’ SL222 is a trendsetter that’s raising expectations of what a boat can be,” Eldridge said in a statement. “Ultimately, it is a rising star that will make boats better for all of us — and that’s what our Zenith Award is all about.”

The Four Winns SL222 will be featured on the March cover of Trailer Boats.
