Freedom Boat Club Celebrates 35th Anniversary

Founded in 1989, the Brunswick Corp. business now has more than 100,000 members.

Freedom Boat Club announced today it is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Since its founding in 1989, the club has expanded to more than 400 locations, with 100,000-plus members.

“This 35-year milestone is a true testament to the vision and dedication of our team, the passion of our members and the strength of the boating community we’ve built,” FBC president Cecil Cohn said in a statement.

The Brunswick subsidiary plans to continue expanding, with recently added clubs in Australia, Denmark, France, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
