Gary Jobson receives US Sailing award

Gary Jobson, a board member of the National Sailing Center & Hall of Fame and the president of US Sailing, recently received the Charles M. Leighton Award for outstanding service.

This award is presented to the person who has made a significant difference in the lives of the members of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Program.

"No one does more to bring the stories of our athletes out to the sailing public than Gary Jobson," said past US Sailing executive director Charlie Leighton, for whom the award is named. "Gary travels the country promoting our sport, promoting the good work being done at U.S. Sailing, and promoting the hard work and great success of the athletes on the US Sailing team AlphaGraphics."
