GB Marine Hires New Broker

GB Marine Group Brokerage announced that Chase Nielsen joined the company’s brokerage team.

A member of the International Yacht Brokers Association, Nielsen has 16 years of experience in the yacht and boat business, GB Marine said in a statement yesterday. He has held a Florida yacht broker’s license for 12 years.

Nielsen has delivered boats to destinations ranging from Cape Cod to Texas to the Caribbean. He will be based at GB Marine’s headquarters in Stuart, Fla.

GB Marine — which comprises the Grand Banks, Palm Beach and Eastbay brands — also said it completed renovations at its Stuart location, upgrading customer-service facilities to include a roofed hardstand and service area and additional parking, plus a private daily boat show. The facility has a new 50-ton Travelift.
