Jerry’s Marine Service general manager Jim Zimmerman is retiring after nearly three decades with the Fort Lauderdale-based distribution company.

A New Orleans native, Zimmerman has been at the helm of Jerry’s Marine since he arrived in Fort Lauderdale in 1990.

Zimmerman and his wife, Diane, plan to relocate somewhere along the East Coast. “Our best wishes and thanks will travel with them,” national sales manager Paul Wohlrab said.

Jerry's Marine Service is one of the largest engine and parts distributors on the Eastern Seaboard. Company president John Lewis and vice president Tim Lewis took over the business from their parents, Joe and Helen Lewis.
