Geosat Solutions moves production to new plant in Florida

Geosat Solutions consolidated the manufacturing, assembly and distribution of the Wave WiFi product line in a move to larger facilities in Oakland Park, Fla.

The company says sales growth of Wave WiFi during the past three years, combined with the international demand for increased Wi-Fi integration with modern marine electronics, made moving to more spacious accommodations necessary.

“We were able to arrange the physical layout of the new building to facilitate assembly and testing for expedited order processing,” Geosat vice president Richard McLaughlin said in a statement. “At the same time, we have adequate space for repairs and new product development.”

Since the company’s inception in 1994, Geosat has shared office space with the other two companies within the Al Behrendt Marine Group: Al Behrendt Enterprises and the Bahamas Billfish Championship.

“This move will enable us to grow with market demand while continuing to develop innovative, user-friendly Wi-Fi products,” McLaughlin said.
