The certified designation requires attendance at four 2 1/2-day seminars on the Fundamentals of Marine Insurance, Commercial Marine Insurance, Insuring Marine Employees and Recreational Marine, followed by rigorous exams.

Offered across the United States throughout the year, the program is the nation's only commercial marine and longshore professional insurance education program.

As a division of LIG Marine Managers, LIG Educational & Consulting Services provides education and instruction to insurance professionals, particularly in marine and international insurance.
