Heesen Yachts expands

Heesen Yachts has expanded its interior facility in Winterswijk, Gelderland, in the Netherlands.

The division was acquired in 2000 and the expansion adds 24,111 square feet, bringing the total production area to 87,188 square feet. Additionally, office space has increased by 3,574 square feet, creating a total of 10,764 square feet.

To meet increased demand, Heesen is also adding 30 employees, which raises the total workforce in Winterswijk to 130.

“We look forward to the official opening of the new work space in September and are ready more than ever to continue the tradition of building precious interiors to the highest Dutch quality standards,” Henry Schreur, managing director of Heesen Interiors said in a statement.
