Highfield Boats Sees 9% Sales Increase in First Half of 2020

Publish date:

Aluminum RIB outfit Highfield Boats has seen record U.S. sales in the first half of 2020, and has named four new dealers as a result.

The manufacturer will now have distribution via Bourbon City Yacht Tenders in Louisville, Ky.; Air-Sea Safety & Survival in Charleston, S.C.; River Services Inc. in Thunderbolt, Ga.; and Bear Mountain Outfitters in Chugiak, Alaska.

“Highfield USA’s sales for the first and second quarter of 2020 saw a 9 percent increase over the same period in 2019,” said Highfield Boats general manager Tom Watson in a statement. “Last year, Highfield made a significant investment in developing and expanding our line of aluminum RIB models, including introducing the popular new Deluxe RIB series. The increased sales we have been seeing in the U.S. market this year demonstrate this investment in our product line has paid off.”

“We are very pleased to be working with Highfield Marine,” said Mike Beller of Bear Mountain Outfitters. “Alaskans love the outdoors and Highfield brings a level of quality and safety that our customers can appreciate.”

The company also made news earlier this month, teaming with marine e-mobility manufacturer Pure Watercraft for a line of all-electric RIBs.
