Highfield Marine adds lines for distribution

Highfield Marine USA will maintain operations at The Fossati Group’s offices and warehouse in Homestead, Fla.

The Fossati Group, the U.S. and Caribbean distributor of Highfield and Aruba inflatable boats, said it will transfer the distribution of both lines to Highfield Marine USA, the U.S. operating arm of Weihai Hifei Marine Co. Ltd.

Based in Weihai, China, Hifei Marine builds Highfield and Aruba rigid and soft-hull inflatable boats.

Highfield Marine USA will maintain operations at The Fossati Group’s offices and warehouse in Homestead, Fla. During the transition, The Fossati Group CEO Domenico Fossati will collaborate with Highfield Marine and its U.S. representative Florian Loury.

The Fossati Group said Highfield Marine USA is expected to announce an ambitious plan to grow the dealer network that The Fossati Group has developed and increase its overall share of the market in the region.

“We felt like now was a good time to make this move,” Fossati said in a statement. “The financial resources of Highfield Marine USA will increase available inventory and support additional marketing programs. We will work together with our dealers to grow the business at an accelerated pace, benefiting everyone involved.”

Fossati started his business in the United States in 1989 as the partner and U.S. distributor for Caribe Inflatables. He has since worked to support a growing dealer network, starting with Caribe.

He recently established The Fossati Group, which is dedicated solely to establishing and expanding the new Highfield and Aruba lines.
