HURRICANE HARVEY: Orvis taking donations for storm recovery work

Orvis, which makes and sells outdoor equipment at stores throughout the country, is accepting rain and wading gear to help in post-Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts.

Anyone with extra waders, wading boots or rain gear in good condition is asked to bring or ship the equipment to Orvis’ San Antonio location. This is the mailing address:

Orvis San Antonio

Attn: Landon Rowlett Park North Shopping Center

7427 San Pedro Ave, Suite 104

San Antonio, TX 78216

The company said all items will be distributed to rescue personnel in Houston and Louisiana. Orvis also asks people to support the storm relief effort by donating to the American Red Cross.
