HydroHoist Marine Group of Claremore, Okla., recently opened a new warehouse in Discovery Bay, Calif.

The new warehouse, the company's sixth, "was driven by our commitment to provide superior service to our existing customers and expand into other western territories," said Mick Webber, president and CEO, in a statement.

Scott Mortensen, owner of Fat Cat Sales, has joined the company as the newest regional manager. Fat Cat Sales, founded in 1973 by Scott's father, Gerry, is HydroHoist's oldest authorized dealer.

"Scott has an immeasurable amount of both sales and technical experience, and we are very fortunate to have him join our team," said Scott Mauldin, director of Warehouse Operations for HydroHoist, in a statement.

"Along with Scott, we welcome aboard Patti Fine as the sales coordinator for the new California warehouse," Mauldin continued. "Patti was already working with Scott as his office manager. It is a huge benefit to be able to start a new operation with an experienced team already in place."
