Cooler manufacturer Igloo Products Corp. signed a multiyear preferred vendor agreement with Independent Boat Builders Inc. to be the supplier of choice for coolers, cooler accessories and other related products.

IBBI is a marine buying group with 20 members in the United States and Canada. Cumulatively, West Frankfort, Ill.-based IBBI manufacturers sell more boats in the United States than any other entity.

“We are looking forward to promoting Igloo to our members for their cooler needs. I know our members are pleased with Igloo’s industry-leading products and the many benefits of this new partnership,” IBBI president Tom Broy said in a statement.

Since originating the cooler category more than 65 years ago, Igloo has grown to offer more than 500 products sold by more than 110,000 retailer storefronts around the world.

“We are very excited the IBBI members chose Igloo as the preferred vendor for their cooler category,” Igloo field sales director Dan Streich said in a statement. “Igloo coolers have been a large part of the marine industry for a very long time. We look forward to our expanded relationship with such a well-established group and providing the IBBI members with our premium products and services for many years to come.”
