IMBC selects field trip sites

Producers of the International Marina & Boatyard Conference have lined up three marinas in Tampa, Fla., for the annual field trip included in the conference agenda.

On Jan. 27, 2010, field-trip participants will tour Tampa Yacht & Country Club, Westshore Yacht Club, and Tampa Harbour. The field trip returns to the Tampa Convention Center just before IMBC's opening reception in the exhibit hall that evening.

The field trip allows participants to take information learned and issues discussed in member newsletters and industry publications and apply them to actual marina facilities. The trip also provides insight as to how other marinas operate and what they offer. There are also networking opportunities, with more than 75 managers, service professionals and staff coming together to make this event possible.
