IMBC will return to South Florida in 2014

The next International Marina & Boatyard Conference will be held Jan. 29-31, 2014, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.

IMBC is the leading marina and boatyard conference and is produced by the Association of Marina Industries.

“Fort Lauderdale works well for IMBC and is a desirable location for our attendees and exhibitors,” AMI chairman Gary Groenewold said in a statement. “We’re pleased to return our largest annual event to South Florida, which is easy to get to and offers a wealth of activities, restaurants and entertainment opportunities.”

The IMBC will utilize the same, familiar space in the convention center that was used this year to make navigation for participants easy. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified convention center is just across the street from the IMBC’s host hotel, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.

Formed in 2002 as the National Marina & Boatyard Conference, the IMBC is currently the only show that caters specifically to marina and boatyard owners, operators and managers, as well as dockmasters, harbormasters, boatbuilders and repairers, and industry consultants.
